It should locate the expected form, submit one clearly labelled synthetic message, observe the success response and match that message in a test inbox.
Confirm that the exact page is reachable in a real browser and did not redirect somewhere unexpected.
Check that Contact Form 7 and the supported required fields are still present before typing anything.
Use a unique run ID and test-only values. Press Send exactly once, even when the result is unclear.
Look for the same run ID in the monitoring inbox. Record the first failed stage instead of calling everything an email problem.

The contact page can remain available after the expected form or required field has disappeared.
A safe automated test may become blocked. That should be reported as blocked, not silently bypassed or mislabeled as broken.
